I own a 2000 Explorer 4X4 187K that is in great shape. I want to keep it but the engine a 4L SOHC has the timing chain problem. As noisey as it is, oil consumption is zero. In which year did Ford make the upgrade to correct the problem? Used engine or fix what I have? I love my Explorer. Thanks for reading.
