New Krawlers are on the way....

I just put my order in for a set of the 35x13.50 BFG Krawlers. My buddy owns his own tire shop and he just happens to be a BFG dealer so I figured what the hell. For anyone that hasn't found prices on these yet I got mine for $240 a tire.

As soon as he gets his tire groover I'll sell my set and order the pair thats a solid mold and make my own tread. Pics and personal info coming as soon as I get them.

He said he wasn't sure. He just barely got all the info on them last week. But he called and the order went through so hopefully soon.

Oh and for anyone caring about weight of there tires. I can't remember the exact weight but there heavy for a some what skinny 35.

UPDATE:They actually just released them in April and all ready on back order. Well at least for my tire guy. So far its a 20 day back order. Will keep everyone informed.

A few questions...

Why would you want to cut your own tires that already cost you $240 each?

What do you gain from that?

Are these tires blanks?

No, I'm buying the real Krawlers. The un-molded tires are for people that are creative with there own designs. Me, myself would groove me own tread to work for my rig and what I do. Tires flex different at trail pressure and by grooveing a tire you can cut out alot of weight and get a tire that works well for you personally. Just ask Rick. He had his SXs grooved.
