new life for a 96 B2300

First computer controlled vehicle for me, so my new hobby is chasing codes.
Found a B2300 that was beat down pretty hard, but she is running good now with a new MAF and IAC. Replacing the Evap lines right now to pass a smog test...(california truck)....
Has the typical annoying "ping" under load at freeway speeds.....almost have that solved.....(new wires and plugs should do the trick).

If you haven't found it yet, we have a Ranger subforum that your Mazda would fit into, especially having the 2.3.

Ted (tbars4) has a 95 CA Ranger with the 2.3 also, and he's real good with the codes. Might browse his threads for info.

What have you been driving before this? Maybe some old classics?
