New lights: 12000k bulbs into projectors

I got my 12000k bulbs in today. They are a little dimmer than the 4300k but nothing like everyone made them out to be, they are still a lot better than halogen! I guess the projectors helped...let me know what you thinK!

The biggest thing I noticed was "hot spots", you all will see what I mean

Where did you get them, were they a turn key item... I mean did they include everything including lenses designed for HID ??? and how much ??

they were direct replacement D2S bulbs made for projectors. They were the exact same as OEM excempt 12000k. I bought the McCollough brand because ive seen their products in the past (halogen lamp kits) and saw many good reviews on them. I paid $130 shipped for the bulbs.

Those are a completely different color than my 12000k were.... mine had a strong purple/pink hue. They look more like ~8000k to me- this may be because of the projectors. Or it could be because of the camera.

Looks cool. Lucky guy to have HIDs. Do a movie of them: like looking at the front of it and lighting them off and then getting in the truck and driving down the road to see the output. It's a good idea

Justin: Looking at the projectors its more of a dark blue color. The light on the road however is purple and everything thats lit up around me is purple as well.
Drew- good idea. I will see what I can do this weekend!
