I have had my piaa headlights for about 6 months now.. aND THEY ARE THE BEST $75 I HAVE SPENT

anyway.. where is matt?!??!?!

Mods are gonna NAB you for that pic!

First, if you're going to a place that charges you $90 for the PIAA 9007 (or 9006s), you're nuts. :) No offense, just joking. But seriously, they can be had EASILY for $50-$60. I purchased mine for $55 shipped to my front door. Second, it's not the look from front. Rather, drive in the rain (or fog) and use them. They light much better than stock ever could. I just came home tonight in the rain and fog and I can attest to their quality. Just be respectful. If you go for the look, then fine. If you go for the use, then fine. Remember, we're all Explorer owners here :)

Im still going to save up and put the true HID kit in my truck, provided that I keep it. But for now, they are kind of growing on me a little, I dont really hate them as much as I did before. They certainly dont look anything like HID's, but I can see how they might be a bit better than stock.

well first off, Matt has been on vacation for the last few days and even so, opinions on PIAA's are strictly individual. Some people really like them and have great results, others get them and hate them, so go figure. I personally think they are worth the money.
A few points on this thread I'd like to make.
First off, I do agree that they should take off their ad claiming these are similar to HID Bulbs.
Second, PIAA's are not "Xenon" bulbs as previously indicated.
I've also seen a lot of PIAA "knock-offs" especially on ebay, but it doesn't sound like you got them.
If you've got the money for HID, I'd say thats your best way to go. However, good luck finding an aftermarket set of HID's that claims to be street legal. Even the kits that replace your existing headlight assemblies come with a "low-beam add-on" that is street legal and clearly states that the use of the HID on streets may be illegal and is for off-road use only (make no sense to me but still).
Other then that I think everyone else has already made most of the points I'd typically make :).
Kontrol-trak, don't post dumbass pictures, ok?

Does anyone here have a sense of humor?

I DO!

I think that picture was funny and I thought "Office Space" was funny as hell too.
