Have a 2004 Mercury Mountaineer AWD 4.0
Have replaced entire front suspension last week. Upper lower control arms, hubs, tie rod, bushings, shocks etc. Went for alignment. They said impossible to align bc Torsion bar in rear was junk. Fun hunt for those OEM. Cost me 150 per side just for the parts and 300 in labor. Got car aligned. Performs fairly well EXCEPT when taking a left turn over 50mph. Rolls so hard I have to hold onto the center console. Cost me 1500$ to rebuild front end. 700 into getting it aligned. Can't drive on the highway very well. Way too loose turning Left. Should prolly replace shocks and struts in rear and get new rear hubs but since I'm not very handy and don't have the tools, I have to pay someone to do it. And I'm just sick of spending money to only get a little bit better. Any ideas what directly is causing the roll? Only 138k miles and id like to keep driving it. Love the car. Thanks for any help.
EDIT: Also realized there a lot and I mean Alot of squeaking coming from rear end. Also when I slow to 5-10 mph and coast, it sounds like something is rubbing or scraping and thebright rear tire feels as though I'm trying to drive away with a parking boot on. It raises up and then drops maybe a couple inches. Only noticable when going very slow other than a humming noise which gets louder the faster I go.
