New member from Australia

Hi guys,

I bought my first Explorer roughly 18 months ago a 2002 White XLT

Then I bought a Black 2003 Limited and sold the white one

The transmission in it wasn't so good so I bought a blue 2004 XLT for parts mainly so I could use the transmission out of it

I have been reading this forum for a while now and use it to figure out how to work on these cars so I thought I would join up

Oh cool! I thought they stopped selling Explorers in Australia after 2001. Welcome Antho!

Thank you as far as I know they imported them into Australia between 1996 annd 2006

I've seen a few UZ models but badged as 2006

There are still a few Explorers getting around but they aren't very common

Suits me because parts are cheap and I'd have one over a Landcruiser or Patrol any day
