New member from Buffalo.

Hello all. I just picked up a 96 XLT 5.0L for a DD.I have a 05 GTO thats modded and my wife drives my 06Trailblazer SS,but i wanted something different and have never owned a Ford,although i always liked the look of the Explorer.It is 2 wheel drive and was also told it was an ex Georgia State Patrol vehicle(or so i'm told).It has a surprising amount of kick in it and i'm excited to get to work on it,as it has a few minor defects.Thanks

wny chick needs advice

Hello. I just bought a 2002 Explorer V6 4x4 last week. The back driver's side is "squeaking" over everything. The mechanic said he needs to take it apart were the bushing is and grease it up and it will be fine. Why not replace it? How do I know?

Welcome to this forum! You could do this type of job. It's not that difficult to grease it up or replace it.

the brakes are grabbing in the rear, so it has to go back in anyways. I'm not paying. but any advice on how to grease them would be great!
