Glad to know that there is a site for dedicated owners with a passion. Happy to be a member of the site.
I just recently purchased a 1992 XLT with 102,000 miles. The vehicle is immaculate inside and out. Engine is sound and transmission is solid. Well taken care of. The only problem is the constant vibrations that seem to occur at various speeds. What might be the problem?

Thanks
Sam

Welcome to the site. If I were you first I would go and have the tires balanced to see if that helps some. It could be sveral things causing the vibrations. I usually use the process of elimination starting with the cheapest and easyiest things first. I hope that helps you out some.

thanks Joe

I will do that. Thanks. Anything else that might be in my best interest to know about my Explorer?

Hi Sam,
Sorry I don't go to this page too much, but there is something you need to know, and that is:
You need to know how to get to Hollister Hill, Frank Raines, Clear Creek so you can go wheeling with us.
Welcome to the site and hope we can get together and do a little wheelin'.

Have you checked the radius arm bushings to see if they are worn?

Also, I recommend buying a Haynes manual if you have not already.
