2000 Explorer Eddie Bauer
Hello everyone,

Like a lot of the new members, I have been visiting the site for a while and have received lots of great information.

Current Explorer is a 2000 Eddie Bauer edition. This has been my wifes only car since she was 16. We recently had our first child and have started the process of getting her a new car. She is very attached to her Explorer though.

We have decided to complete a 4wd conversion so we have a family friendly vehicle capable of some offroading (I currently have a single cab Toyota 4wd so a long time before the baby can be in there).

Excited to now be part of the forum. Thank you to all the members who make this a great place.

Welcome!!
Not to noodge...but, why would you want to convert a 20 y.o. vehicle to 4wd?, in Georgia?
I'm guessing the structure is already in place to go 2wd to 4 wd.
I don't, but others here know. Even so, wouldn't that still be a $4-7,000 operation? If it is, that's your down payment on a New Car for the baby.
Let me know... C.J.Y.

Welcome.
