New Member - Great Help !!!

I just bought an 02 Explorer XLT that was badly abused and found this group to help me repair it .This group has been a great help, seems to be alot of common problems with these Explorers,like the broken wire in the door , dim odometer .If anyone is interested I took the odometer apart , fixed it and now it is nice and bright again !! Thanks again.

Dim odometer

I was ready to go to the salvage yard and get another instrument cluster and then I started reading threads and there was fixes for them. After tearing it all apart and soldering all the bad joints. I didn't know if it would work until I reinstalled it , but luckey me it did. If you think I should post the fix, I could do a step by step but with no pictures. What do you think ?
