Hey crew. Have my Dad's 93 4dr XLT automatic, he bought new. Only has 128,000. No engine noise or probs.
I'm wanting to make as much power as possible.
Thanks, Dave
(Not sure if I can deal with all of these pop up ads that cover content.)

@DaveInTn These advertisements are a recent addition. Elite membership is cheap and removes the advertisements, but I'm still free. The ads become less tolerable when used on a mobile browser, as there are strange boxes that cover every thing even after the ads are closed.

Otherwise, welcome to the forum! There's a great deal of useful information here for nearly any purpose you could desire. If I'm being honest though, at the prices they come, if you want more power, just get a 2nd-gen with the 302 V8 and have a ball. There's only so much that these old workhorse V6's can do. They're usually most reliable if left to do their work as designed, and maintained well. They're designed to go far, not fast.

I know that's not what you want to hear, though! The Search Bar in the corner will help direct you to the threads covering others' modifications.

Hope you enjoy your time here, and I'm interested to see what you come up with for your Ex! 128k is a time capsule, for sure!

Hey Man. Thanks. Yea, I've seen the prices for headers and I backed off already. I might port the heads and intake.
Removing the fan and it's clutch and going with a 16" elect. should show some improvement too. From what I've watched in vids, the timing slack adjusters are weak in these. I'll change those when the heads are off.
Dave
