new member needs help

i just put a new battery and alternator in within the past week. Now it ran fine but i went to the store and my 04 explorer shut offf. took me a while to jump my battery but i got started. I put my battery on the charger over nite, but i had to take the battery out because of the outlets in my apartment. i go to put the battery in this morning and my theft alarm is going off. i tried pressing my unlock button twice and lock but twice it but its still going off what could the problem be??

when my alarm goes off the only way it shuts down is when I use the key to turn the ignition to on. Have you tried using the key in the ignition instead of using the key fob?

I have to press the alarm button on my fob to deactivate the alarm.

Do you know if the battery was actually drained? Or could it have been a bad cable connection?

I've not known these alarms to go off while connecting the battery. That is odd. Old aftermarket alarms would however.
