Hey Guys, I have used this site to pick your brains in the past as a non member viewing your posts but signed up as now more than ever I could use your help. My father and mechanic has recently passed away
and now i'm on my own. I am a small equipment technician so I am not totally un coordinated but I am not a vehicle mechanic by any means.
My vehicle Is a 2002 Explorer sport (4.0 sohc, manual 5 speed)and I use it for jobsite repairs for construction company tool and equipment so I drive all over the LA County and im looking for the best fuel economy and power upgrades as sometimes I haul a small trailer.
So far Ive added a cold air intake(K&N), bigger exhaust(Flowmaster), synthetic oil & trans fluid (Royal Purple) and some small lift shackles.... Tried a jet cpu chip and removed as the only thing that changed was my check engine light.
Any upgrades for mostly city driving and info on bigger tires? (235/70 r16 currently but gonna need new ones soon and would like to go bigger using same wheels if possible)
Input would be greatly appreciated.
