Just stumbled upon this site and can't thank all who post here enough. 12" of snow around Christmas (alot for here), no problem I've got 4 wheel drive. Not!
Many thanks and condolences to those who had this problem before me. Did some trouble shooting and reading here and ordered a new 4X4 module from Silverstatefordparts.com. Great people to do business with and the best price I could find. My 2002 XLT has many of the same problems as many others but this forum promises to save me huge amonts of time and money. I hope to be able to add some helpful hints to others in the future.
