I think you will have a lot more work than just dropping in a 4.0. I doubt the transmission will bolt up and the computer will probably have to be changed as will the wiring and exhaust.
It can certainly be done but not just plug and play.
I agree with Red^^. But it all depends on your mechanical skills.
If you're skilled and have the time, yeah get a wrecked truck with the 4.0 and do the swap, you'll have all the other "go-along" parts right there.
Or, if you don't have the ability, or the money to have it done, you could sell your truck and get a similar one that has the 4.0...
