new member with a ton of questions

Hey everybody I'm new here but not new to off roading. I am new to sport tracs though. I've had my fair share of f150s they all treated me great but take up way too much room on the trail. I'm looking to get a sport trac that's in the most capable off road years of production. I want all y'alls knowledge fact, experience,and opinion based. Thanks!

Welcome!

The Sport Trac is pretty capable off road with minor modifications and can be done without a ton of money. Of course, as with everything, the more you are willing to spend the better you can make it but you can do pretty well without a whole lot invested. You'll want an '01 to '05 for the solid rear axle since the '07+ went to independent rear.
