Hello everyone i just wanted to introduce myself to the community.. i recently got a hold of my dad's 98 eddie baurer explorer 5.0 2wd, he bought this brand new from the dealer in 97 and was his daily driver put 20k into it sold it to my step brother and i got it back from my brother with 106k on the clock before he took it to trade it in for a new car.. this is the 4th explorer in out family in 10 years, two 98 explorers one limited (dad's Still owns) and the eddie baurer(was dad's now mine), and then a 99 XLT(sister's) and a mercury mountaineer(dad's still owns) and all with the 5.0 but all 2wd.. so yeah u can say with a ford family, not to mention my Focus and dad's other ford trucks..
Well i it needs some loving first thing i did was a nice wash with a claybar and wax.. and already have some small plans for it since this will be my daily until i get my bike in order, and focus being the toy.
Plans will be a MAC intake and Cat-back, BF all terrains KO 255-70-16 with some pro comp rock crawlers (will look more into actual size later),with a small lift kit and a complete interior cleaning, new speakers and headunit, engine service with trans fluid, and sparks and wires, and then some misc items... might post some pics later on
