2005 Explorer Sport Trac
Whats up members... Recently Reviewed info on cleaning the iac and figured after a successfull cleaning after following the info i figured id jump on for any other info i could get. I just bought a 2005 Sport trac and has some issue. apperantly ford isnt the greatest at fixing warranty repairs...its been in the shop 3 times since i purchased it 15 days ago. oh well, eventually they will figure it out or i will, one of the two.
thanks for the help with that iac. unfortunatley it didnt fix the issue but it was a good starting point and did fix a slight whine.

welcome jaycee

Yeah Thanks. to be honest it wasnt dirty to my deffinition. obviously a bit of dust but nothing serious. i did take care of the whine i was hearing but it wasnt that loud. however the issue i am dealing with is a low idle. like 500 rpms in D or R but like 600 in park. its stalled a couple times driving straight in reverse. theres a grinding type sound that i think is coming from some where near the belt but ford said they cant find anything. all they did was clean the throttle body. i ahve a warranty so no big but i have to find something cause its abvious something isnt working correctly. any info would be great. thanks yall i appreciate the info.
