Hello to all. I'm glad this site was the first one on my
Google search for 'explorer forum'. I'm not even going
to bother checking the others, as this one seems to have
it all. I own a 2002 xlt, with 140,000 miles. The only things
to have gone wrong, are with the things that can't be
maintained. Such as, fuel pump, wiper motors twice, rear
wheel-bearings at 60,000 mls, clogged cats, and my
personal favorite, the shifter that broke off of the steering
column, stuck almost in park, in front of my wife's
ex-husbands house. Oh joy. But hey, at least it's finally paid off.
