I am Jim and I just bought a 2002 Explorer for my daughter. It needs some work but the price was right and I think it will make a good vehicle for her. It has the 4.6 V8 with just 120,000 miles on it. Right now the fix it list is as follows: Rear struts, rear tie rod ends, find and replace a bad hub bearing, then figure out why the ABS and the air bag lights are on. Once all that is done, I'll get some new tires for it and other than a good cleaning, it shouldn't need much else.
