Have owned a 1993 explorer xlt 4 door with a 5 speed and no air bags. The 4 wheel drive system has never worked. Fuses are all good... any suggestions?

When you push the 4wd button, can you hear relays in the rear cargo area "clicking"? If so, the the problem is most likely the shift motor. There's a good rebuild thread on here somewhere. And welcome to the forum!

Welcome to this forum! The rebuild thread shows you how to use a small piece of rubber hose to make a repair in the transfer case in the area where the shift motor is located.
