New member here! My wife and I just bought a clean one owner 1997 Explorer XLT loaded with every option with the 4.0 ohv. 96k miles owned by an elderly couple. Besides the ohv being kind of a turd performance wise it seems like a good solid engine. It'll be a great grocery getter hopefully. I'll upload some pictures.

for sure the ohv is lacking a bit in the power department, but look around,, alot ofd them go way into the 200,000 mile mark or more,,

should last a while,, for sure
