New Memeber from Texas

Well here goes...I just found this site a few months ago. So impressed with everyone that contributes. I own a 2003 Sport Trac XLT. I really had no idea that so many others out there absolutly love their Sport Trac as much as I do. Been going at it alone since I got it in '06. Not anymore. Thanks to all of you. Honestly I been a Ford man since I was..well...born.(although I've owned many brands) Grew up in Michigan were 80% of all my relitives work for a auto manufacturer.(from the lines to the offices) I will never forget going to the Henry Ford Museum. Anyway, just wanted to make my presence known and official. Oh btw..just got my 69 y.o. father to purchase an '07 Sport Trac last week! So now I guess I get to work on two Sport Tracs. Hmm..wait a minute..is that good or bad?:scratch: Oh well. I really do enjoy maintaining my vehices. What stated out as a nessesity to learn how to work on my vehicles (you know..$) turned out to be one of my favorite things to do when I'm not at work.

Hi y'all from a fellow Texan by birth. Got my 1st X last Jan. and joined then. I'm lovin both the X and the Forum. Just turned 70 in Feb. and my X makes me feel young again, with the 5.0L and the sound of the "glass-pack"

Thank you for the welcome BrooklynBay, JAMES209, and 1ATony. Precieate cha (that's thank you in Texan) I just posted my first how to about MAS cleaning..wasn't the best(I struggled uploading the pics) but evenuatlly noodled it through. It should help some folks out. Tony-do you know Mike Green(I think that his name) from all the 1AAuto vids on youtube? That guy is great in his how to's..patience of an angel. James-been in Texas 4 yrs.it just took me a little while to come to my sences. Brooklyn-thanks for being first to say hello
