Hello all,

Sorry for posting a simple question like this. I searched for 2 hours on this site and on google and couldnt find an answer.

All I need to know is how is it that one is able to use this CD changer?!?

I have recently purchased a 2000 XLT. I dont know how to access the CD changer on my head unit. I have this little remote hanging off but I'm not sure what to press on the factory head unit in order to hear CD's from the changer.

Again I apologize for this simple thread. Just need help :(

thnks!

It's probably through a FM modulator. You'll have to find the frequency that it comes through. (if it is an aftermarket piece)

Yea, I'm sure you're right. I have also a '97 240sx with the same type of CD chagner. Ill search theu some stations today to see if I can find it. Its the stock changer, might anyone with the same model know what frequency I might need to be on to make it work?

Thanks, sorry again for the noob post.

If it's the stock changer, it won't have an FM modulator. My '96 had the changer, it should work with the "CD" button on the radio. It should anyway.
