I just picked up an '05 XLT Sport with 72k on the clock. I was curious as to what service recommendations would be from those that have purchased used around this milage?

Overall the car runs strong and there is just a slight (wouldn't call it rough) idle and the car pulls to the right a tad. Outside of that, I haven't had any other issues -- had it about 3 weeks now. I have no idea how the car was maintained as I purchased it from a dealer.

I was thinking of having the tranny and coolant flushed, a tune up done as well as the alignment. Does that sound about right on what should be done coming into an unknown service history? My goal is to keep this running as long as possible, to 200k at least.

It might behoove you to get a CarFax? There's quite a bit of information on those puppies. It'll ensure that nothing major happened to the vehicle (regardless of title status)

Carfax was clean. Dealer provided one during sale.

I'm more just interested in the maintenance services to ensure a long life of the vehicle.
