'94 Explorer Sport 2D
Hi everyone, i just discovered this site, read some posts and really liked it. I have a 94 Explorer Sport 2 door, 5 speed manual, 4.0L. It's a good running vehicle (I love it), and want to start doing some of my own modifications. What's a good place to start really? I see custom intakes are popular, and then exhaust systems. I haven't been able to find too many explorer resources on the web. Any help would be appreciated!

WELCOME

Welcome Dingo,
Engine and drive line mods are always a great place to start. Then you have to decide how you are going to use your rig, all road, mid off, serious off roading...
There are tons of mods for the 91-94 Ex. out there. Take a look thru the "before and after" forum, when viewing post, click on the links in members signatures, visit some of the web sites for the different clubs that post on this board..I think you will find every thing you need and more...
Only one word of advice, do some research before beginnning your upgrades. There are alot of mods out there that are over rated, and people tend to blow them up to be better then they actually are.

Good Luck...

After the KKM. nu all means, have a local muffler shop make a custom cat back for you.

Good luck and enjoy.......

Thanks for the help, i don't have any pictures of mine at the moment, but here's a link to one that looks just like it (but mine has factory wheels)
