We'll i've giving up on the pre-runner ranger, broke my sprit w/ that truck, so i looked around on this site and got an idea. If you all look at the new x's they have chrome rims. Hold on the question is comming up and i know you all are a whole lot smarter than I am w/ this. So i was wondering, if i could take the chrome 18'' rims that come on a 2k6 explorer and throw them on mine? Or am I setting myself up for disappointment? Or even the 17'' rims?? So please exuse my ignorance and help me out if any of you gals/ guys, gotta be pc correct , have an idea,, thanks, dave

I believe they will fit, just the problem is backspacing. The backspacing for the '02-06 models are different then previous models, but I could be wrong - I think I read that somewhere on here

So if i went to the dealer and said i love the rims off of a lmited 2005 model i'd be okay?? ive had problems w/ the back spacing on previous rim orders so thats why i thought about trying to go w/ the manufacture, thanks for the suggestions , I really appriceate it,.
