I just put on new rims this morning and now I'm concerned about brake dust. Whats the best pads out there that give off the lowest amount of dust? The PF carbon metalic's are coming off very soon, are the ceramic pads a better choice? Thanks.

check out Dead Link Removed. They are brake dust shields that keep the dust from reaching the outside of your rim. They make them specifically for your vehicle!

I would not suggest using those brake dust shields. They cut off all the air flow to the brakes, and it will cause them to overheat if you take long trips or you do a lot of stop and go driving. I know a lot of people who have run into problems with those things.

NOT TRUE!

I had some of these! They have vents on them that force air over the rotors which in turn keeps the dust blowing away from the wheels. It is true that some "dust shields" have no vents and create a non-ventilation problem! Check out their site under FAQ and see!

nice wheels!

can we see a pic from not so close up? like a side shot of the entire vehicle?

ya, sweet rims. what size r they? and can i ask where you got them from?

I'll have more pics up when I wash the truck. There only the stock 15X7 size and I got them on eBay back in February. I've been waiting for the snow to melt to put them on. The guy I bought them from, Mashm21, is a wholesaler for American Racing who drop shipped them. They were only $560 shipped directly from the AR factory in California. I think the auction results are still available. Dead Link Removed
