i saw this on ebay

it seems to be the same sub as the jbl equiped explorers. i have the premium audio. can i just wire it into my head unit? what else is required?

It's not the same, but it is kinda similar. You'd need to get a pre-amped one and get some sort of signal from the HU. My aftermarket sub amp taps the rear speaker wires in the pass kickpanel.

you need to tap both the left and right rear speakers then run an amp off those feeds and wire up the sub, right?

this looks like what i need, better sound without the cargo grabbing box!
