New superlift explorer vs ranger

If the superlift ranger kit is the same in front as the explorer then if you use the ranger kit will you still have to buy a new front driveshaft? Why or why not with the ranger and explorer? Just wondering cause if I bought the ranger front and didn't have to buy the driveshaft that would be the better way to go.

Hi Cynthia,

It isn't going to matter what lift you end up getting. You will either need to get your existing driveshaft lengthened, or have entirly new driveshaft built.
I would suggest the latter, simply because an aftermarket driveshaft will be much more durable.

I was wondering about that. I guess I need to save more $ for the driveshaft before getting the lift. At least someone finally answered, thanks alot.
