i would either build a box to hold your battery in or take a piece of nylon and bolt it down over the battery to the floor.

as for the sub setup ported box vs. sealed box comes down to taste. sealed generally hits tighter and ported is a boomier sound. you also get a thousand times louder in ported boxes.

keep us updated on what you plan on doing.

just out of curiosity what model power basses are those subs?

LOL no offense but thats not your permanent set up is it? with the boxes stacked like that and the battery sitting right on the carpet? if i was you i would build a box and conceal the battery behind your subs. kinda put your subs in a row and put the battery behind the middle one.

I was thinking of bolting a wooden box to the floor for the baterry i have no idea what im going to do with the subs i cant make a sub box my self so i would have to have someone make one for me so any pics of a 3 sub box in a explorer would help measurements are a plus

They make 3 Sub boxes but if you said those 3 you got wont fit then u wont be able to use the ones iv seen. you may have to do a custom set up wit a single mounted on top of a dual but then you take away from your rear view mirror so maybe have the single hit against your back seat and have the double facing out the hatch or vice versa. you probabaly should have thought more bout where things would be situated before installing them. thats what i did.

Oh and for the battery you could do what i did. i took velcro strips and put them on the bottom of my amp to keep that from sliding and it works perfect. just use half the velcro, the scratchy side sticks to the explorer carpeting well enough to hold the stuff in place but not tear your **** up.

Ever heard the myth of a tissue box, sitting on the rear deck of a car, knocking someone out during a rear-end collision? Just think what your battery and sub boxes will do during an accident. Bolt them down as if its permanent, velcro won't do sh*t.

Monday im going to go put some limo tint on the 5 windows in the back and they said they can make me a wooded box for my baterry bolted onto the floor and cover it with carpet

Im running low on cash at the moment and i need to work on the engine first. so i have to wait before i make a custom sub case but once i do i will make shure its bloted down. Before all my music was stolen i had 2 15s and 2 12s the 25s where in the midle and one 12 on each side thats why when you look at the pics you can see the sides of the trunk are all scraped up inside because of the subs shifting around afew inches overall never had any fall down and they where not bolted down.

Edit: Another problem im having is with ajusting my bass.
I put it all the way up on the crossover and then change it as needed on the preamp up front but by doing that when i put the preamp Bass on the lowest posible the bass is still coming out pretty damn loud.
Only posible solution i have found is to turn it all the way down on the crossover and then when i put it down on the preamp it cancels out all the bass BUT by doing that i loose about 60% of the bass.
(need to be able to remove all bass and only leave voice from within reach of the drivers side. my old system dident have this problem but it had no crossover)
