I have a few questions. The tensioner is straight forward... Pull the old, throw into recycling bin and replace with new, updated version and new copper gasket. BUT in my worthless "FORD MANUAL" on CD, it doesn't go into where the long plastic rod goes, OR I just haven't found it... Does the factory ford manual (paper version) have the same crappy pictures and layout that the CD has? All four Factory Ford repair manuals I have are very detailed and useful... Can anyone point me in the right direction where this rod goes please? I think it goes next to the tension, but I want to make sure before I go digging around in there... Also, is it imperative that I replace the lower intake manifold gaskets? Mine don't leak and I got the old tensioner out with the lower intake and coolant stuff in place...
TIA!!
