New to Board with question

Hi,
Just joined and I am proud to say I just changed front and rear brakes. Probably not a big deal to you, but I feel like I have just conquered the world. Very easy job.

However, my wife says that the passenger side is leaking. Everytime it rains. Sure enough I pulled the rug up and it is wet as all get out along the railing side to the right of the seat. Definately water. How can this be???? (no window down or anything...coming from somewhere along windshield I guess.

Your help is greatly appreciated.

look at the door seal on that side, and make sure it's not folded or deformed. if it's the windshield, it will be a little harder to diagnose. i would say use a spatula and some toilet paper, and lightly press it into the edge of the windshield. not too hard though, because the seal around the windshield can be damaged. look at the paper after pouring some water on the windshield, and you should find the leak if it's there. if there is a leak in the windshield though, have a pro fix it!

That's a great Idea with the tissue paper, I'll have to keep that one in mind if
my '02 had this water problem. Also take a look at the thread for 'Passenger side water leak' a little further down the main page. It may give you some more idea's.
