- 2002 Ford Explorer XLT
Ladies and Gentlemen,
I just got a 2002 Explorer XLT with the 4.0 V-6, ControlTrac 4x4, and a 5-speed Manual. 127xxx miles. Options: Cruise control, CD/Tape stereo, running boards, and Sunroof. No 3rd row seating... for now.
Got some slight cosmetic damage, and a demolished headliner, but I've gotten a start on fixing some of it. Still needs front and rear bumper skins,
I've got the rear tail lenses off a Mercury Mountaineer that I've spliced the extra bulb on (It was all they had at the junkyard, and I like the look with the little plastic grill things).
Main reason for getting the Explorer was the need to haul a car seat or 3 eventually. Just the one for now.
Went from :rangerred: to :exp:
Just thought I'd join rather than lurk, since you guys were a valuable resource when I was looking for an Explorer.
