- 2003 Explorer XLT
I just picked up an 03 Ford Explorer, w/ 4.6, w/ 4x4, w/ Towing- I think it's an XLT
off of Craigslist - w/ only 88,600 miles, and 1 owner!
When there's a bit of snow here in the Milwaukee area, it will be so much safer than my
current ride- an '01 Dodge Dakota Quad Cab, w/ 4.7, manual tranny, and only has RWD!- it has 244,000 miles!
Runs great- doesn't use or leak oil!
The Explorer-
It's really clean, no dents, no wrecks, clean CarFax, etc.
I bought it near Chicago on a Saturday- drove it home and took it to the DMV on Monday,
Then took it to have the emissions- passed no prob!
I still drive my Dakota too- no think snow yet
Sorry, I'm at work and some pics of it are at home on my computer.
I look forward to learning more about it- I read a lot of posts and reviews before I decided to get it.
the lower miles for an '03 and the condition got me to spring for it.
