2025 Explorer ST-Line
Hey there, Just saying Hi from North Texas! Picked up our 2025 Explorer a week ago and enjoying it. Our family of 5 needed another vehicle as the 2013 Mustang GT wasn't practical anymore.

The explorer is an ST-Line in Carbonized Gray Metallic. We added the Premium package and the ST-Line street package. That's all!
I joined this forum as I like to tinker with my vehicles, and hope to share tips and tricks and general knowledge with fellow owners.

Yes I jealous of the ST trim with full leather and 3.0l, or the extra room in a Expedition, but the cost was a bit too much for us now. Hoping she gets better gas mileage than my 3.5; twin turbo F-150.

In the past I've had:
1984 Buick Lesabre - Family hand me down
1993 Ford Mustang LX- 2.3l - First purchased car
2003 Ford Ranger Edge - 3.0l - First new vehicle purchase
2004 Ford Ranger Edge - 4.0l Supercab - Need more room
2006 Nissan Xterra 4x4 - Needed more room and wanted to off-road. Modified a ton.
2013 Ford Mustang GT - Because its bad ass.

Now we have:
2018 Ford F-150 Screw 4X4- 3.5l EcoBoost 6' bed. 36 galloon tank is a must have.
2025 Ford Explorer ST-line - 2.3l - Why I am here now.

@Mnemonic Welcome to our collective back yard! This is the right place for all things Explorer. I can't confidently say I've seen a 2025 in the flesh.

We want pics!

In a few more days all the tint and edge guards will be as set as they ever will be. So I guess I need to do the whole clay bar, wash and wax/ceramic coat it. 3 rows of Husky floor mats arrive in a couple days.

Welcome. x2 on pics.

Pics soon, but is this site usually so heavy with advertisements? Using chrome and had to exit/pause an obnoxious ad three times while writing this post. The browser automatically playing some unwanted video on every single screen no matter where you scroll. Is that normal?

I do like less trim lines to pic from in 2025 but the customization needs to give options some more independent options outside of bundles and packages. I love our ST-Line, but I had wished a leather upgrade and the 3.0l engine were individual items we could have added on. Oh well, this thing still loves cold air that's just started to show up. Maybe a max version too in the future? Just a full foot extra cargo room, or if the chassis can spread room out some give all rows some room, esp. middle. That would rock.
