New To Forum Need Help

Not Exactly Sure If This Is The Right Spot To Post This... Like I Said I Am New Here..... But To The Problem....I Own A 2003 Explorer And While I Was Driving Today And My Air Bag Light Came On.... At First Just Solid.... I Didnt Quite Know What To Do So I Pulled Over.. Turned The Truck Off For A Few Minutes Then Back On.... Air Bag Light Flashes 3 Times... Pauses Then Flashes 7 Times... Repeats This Pattern About 5 Times I Believe... Then Goes Solid What Does this Mean What Should I So....

Welcome to this forum! That code is related to the yellow plug going into a resistor under the seat. Unplug it, clean the connector, reconnect it, and hope for the best. It works most, but not all of the time.

thanks for all the helps guys you rock.... followed the yellow wires through the car from under the dash one under the front passenger seat happen to come unplugged.... i took it to the dealership before i opted to try that myself.... they were trying to convince me that the air bag control module was bad.... 569 to fix it.... i think they knew the whole time what the problem really was...
