I traded my wifes 01 Dubd out Expedition for an 07 Explorer. Need Ideas on what can be done. Any modded 07 Explorers out there? I'm thinking about going with a 20' wheel, tinting the front door windows and addind Navigation and Video.

Post pics/mod list please.

BTW, hers is a 4x4 but she wont go near offroad.

I got an 01 sport and i did some mods to it like dual 40 series flowmasters and customized yellow fogs and high flow k&n air filter and removed the silencer but i wanna do more mods to it.

Here are pics of it on this site www.cardomain.com/id/sams01xplrsprt

tell me whatcha think

Nice, no one else has done anything to an 07?

Lots of us have done things, some of us more than others. You have to give us some ideas of what kind of thoughts you're having. My list of modifications would take 3 pages.

What Andy said. There seem to only be so many things we can do to these new fords. The popular mods seem to be an air system (mine is a K & N air charger), a cat back system (the research I've done is leading me towards a magnaflow ), some lighting, (which is limited because unless you go to an HID, sylvania is the only one that makes bulbs for our sockets, and silverstar is it because they don't make us a silverstar ultra yet) and a grill guard or a bull bar. Some guys have considered heavy duty coils (Granatelli) but as much as I' like to add items that are an upgrade, I always weigh out the dollar value to the likelihood of it even making a noticeable improvement.Let us know where you want to start and we can bring you up to speed. Most mods have been covered in other threads (some extensively) so it helps to browse back through those as well. We are all ears when it comes to a new item that will bolt onto our rides so if its out there, you'll see it here first.

 Uhh, what he said.

Ok, Its my wife's truck so even though its a 4x4 it will NEVER see a real opportunity to go offroad. I am leaning toward a chrome bull bar, 20" wheels with slightly agressive all terrain tires(Suggestions?) Maybe a roof mounted bike rack. Possibly a little bit of a lift (not sure tho)

Cool! If Nitrogen in the tires is a mod, Snowball is modded! :D

Mod is short for modification.

Modification
–noun
1. an act or instance of modifying.
2. the state of being modified; partial alteration.
3. a modified form; variety.
4. Biology. a change in a living organism acquired from its own activity or environment and not transmitted to its descendants.
5. limitation or qualification.
6. Grammar.
a. the use of a modifier in a construction, or of modifiers in a class of constructions or in a language.
b. the meaning of a modifier, esp. as it affects the meaning of the word or other form modified: Limitation is one kind of modification.
c. a change in the phonological shape of a morpheme, word, or other form when it functions as an element in a construction, as the change of not to -n't in doesn't.
d. an adjustment in the form of a word as it passes from one language to another.

Since it didn't come with nitro, it's a mod.

uh, ok. It was kind of, a joke?

Self-deprecation is a form of humor in which people make jokes about themselves, their shortcomings, or their culture, usually without being guided by any underlying self-esteem issues.

Getting Off topic - What happens when posters on a forum..... wait.....

My mods are listed in my sig. And I still want to find another perfornance upgrade thats got decent cost:gain ratio. Have we figured that out yet?

Several have made a genuine difference. Most of the really expensive ones did, but honestly, only in combination with each other.
