New to the Site with a few questions

Hey, I new to the site. I just purchased a 2000 4wd explorer. It is black with grey leather interior. It has pretty much every option that came on an XLT. It has 73k miles on it. Now for some questions. First, I am having a hard time finding many lift options for this year Explorer. I would eventually like to do a small, inexpensive lift and add some slightly larger tires and some new rims. It would be greatly appreciated if someone could point me in the right direction on finding a small lift for this year Explorer.

Welcome to the site.. You can do a TT (torsion twist)/ Shackles and/or body lift.

Here's a link on 2" body lift for a 99.. Will work on yours too.. Dead Link Removed

Thanks for the help, I think once I have saved up some money I might twist the torsion bars about 1.5 inches in the front, add the 2 inch shackle lift for the rear. About what size tires do you think I could fit with that set up? Probably go with some cheap black rims.

One question though.....how much of an effect will doing that have on the ride quality?
