I am from michigan im 25 my dad is my biggest idol and a 25 year master mechanic he bought a 1991 explorer 4door brand new and drove it 289k miles and sold it running he is now on his second witch is a 1994 4door. I have been in these trucks since i was born. I have a 1992 sport 3" lift on 32" wranglar mtr kevlar. I am working on getting it more set for 2 tracks. I come from a mudder childhood but i enjoy 2 track exploring better. These 1st gen explorers are more than a truck to me they are part of my life every memory i have from my life has began in a explorer. Im not a fan of explorers after the first generations because of the loss of the solid front axle. Would love ideas on improving along with experience of what you have done with these. Glad to be part of this now wish i would have found this years ago.
