Well its time to replace the Wrangler RTS with something new before winter arrives. I do not off road, this is for highway/city driving only.

Narrowed my selection down to 2 brands, Firestone Destination LE and Yoko Geolander HTS G-051. Anyone have experience with either of these 2 and wish to give their opinions?

Not interested in debating the Ford/Firestone pi$$ing contest so please leave it out of this thread.

BTW, I will be replacing with stock size 255/70/16.

We have the Firestone's on our '02. They're a decent tire. Nice and quite, ride good, good amount of traction.

Approx how many miles have you put on them? I understand that they have very good wet and dry traction, how about ice, light/heavy snow, slush etc.

Appreciate your comments.

i've heard nothing but Good things about the Destination LE's

we have the destinations on our 96 explorer and i put a set on my girl's durango.....

Well, its not my truck, so I don't drive it much. i'd say around 10-15k on them. They've done well in the snow. As far as the rest I'm not 100% sure. Like I said, I don't drive it much so I don't want to give you a bad opinion. They are very quite however at highway speeds(up to 110 ;)). Very nice tire. The ATs seem to be a good tire as well.
