So I ordered some new weather stripping for all of my doors from Rock Auto- must say- exact OEM style, pre-adhesive loaded and perfect fit, plenty extra to trim and save some extra pieces!
Question is, how much compression of the new weatherstripping have you guys that replaced your weatherstripping noticed after changing? Was your door close tight, then loosened up a bit after using the doors, etc?
I need to give the doors a very healthy push or pull to get them to close, but I don't want to move the strikers- but I also don't want them too far out of line and tax the hardware, but if it compresses pretty good after a few days, I'll leave them alone... It is already much quieter in the cabin...
