New wheel and tire install....How much?

Hey guys, well I finally made enoung money to get my Cobra R's, I am so psyched. I will be ordering them probably friday. Now when I get them, will any tire shop adjust the speedometer and all that jazz, or do I have to go to someplace special. And also how much does that usually cost? Thanks alot guys, I will be sure to post pics asap

I would be suprised if your local tire shop knew how to re-calibrate your speedometer. my Ford dealer didn't even know how to do it. You have a few choices, if its 94-earlier you can follow the technical article that David Meisner wrote up about changing the speedometer gear, after 95 they changed the way speed was reported (I think 95 was the year). Anyways, if that doesn't work you can go to a speedometer shop in town, I know theres one in Denver caleld Joe's speedometer or something like that and they will re-calibrate it for you.
