The big question is....

Does the tranny work better now?

It does shift better however after driving for a bit, I noticed I lost reverse again. I checked the fluid and it was low so I topped it off and I got reverse back. I suspect I got a bad seal somewhere.

Did you actually have it powerflushed? Or were you just changing the fluid out? Sometimes flushing an engine that hasn't had one for so long can actually #### things up by knocking clutch fibers loose etc... Just something to keep in mind...

What i did was disconnect the line from the tranny to the radiator and plugged a clear hose over the line to a 5 gallon bucket. I started the truck and poured bottle after bottle of Mercon 5 until the fluid was coming out clean. It took about 18 or so quarts but I wasn't paying attention so I kept on flushing past the 18 quarts. Once I finished, I dropped the pan and changed the filter & EPC solenoid and then re-filled the tranny with 3-4 quarts after turning on the truck.. I ran thru all the gears and it was fine.. Then of course after driving a bit the symptoms started again so I checked the fluid and it was low. According to glacier in my other thread, that is common after a flush. I'm just gonna keep an eye on the fluids for a week or so on a daily basis.

You should be fine in that case....I wouldn't go to a dealership for a power flush though... Sounds like you might be able to put a bandaid on the artery for a little while though :flipoff2:
