New Yokohamas AT or HT....$329 at Big O

For those that need new rubber Big O is having a pretty good sale, atleast in LA. I just priced 4 255/70/16's for $329.

Anyone have any experience with either of these on their Explorer? I had the AT's them on my Grand Cherokee and Montero and liked them.

I have used both at the dealership and they work well but seem to wear a little quick.

Are you talking the Yokohama Geolander H/T-S? I have a set of those on my VUE (wife's vehicle). They appear to be made out of some non-wearable material. I swear, in the 4 years I've had them (only mounted during the non-snow months here), they have shown no appreciable wear.

They are decent in the dry (how much dry traction do you really need in a softly sprung SUV?), OK in the wet and I'd rather not in the snow.
