Went out to buy a Jeep, and darned if I didn't bump into a 1998 Explorer Sport 4wd in like new condition with only 50K miles on it, and equipped with some pretty decent off-road tires.
Talked to the lady seller who advised that it was set up that way as she had lived in Colorado (snow country) prior to moving to Az.
Plan on doing some mild off-roading, hunting, gold panning, etc.
Wish me luck! I'm sure I'll be back here with some questions for you PRO'S.
