Hi all. I just recently became a new owner of a 1999 Ford Explorer. It was my sister's vehicle for about 4 years. It has the 4.0L SOHC with about 186K miles on it. It's a fixer upper and I've already fixed a bunch of little things on it. The most major issue it has is the Check Engine light is on and DTC codes P0171 and P0174 are currently present. I'm currently in the troubleshooting stages of that.
I found this forum while researching some parts sources for some of the things wrong with it as well as troubleshooting information.
