Hello all,
I'm a female and i love my mounty. Do have a question so looking for some feed back. I own a 1997 AWD mounty and heard from a member that i could possibly my AWD to a 2WD by doing a brown wire mod switch.

Any suggestions or comments on how one would go about this would greatly be appriciated.

Love my truck, but not overly thrilled about the gas guzzler it is.

...hmmm, after reading that brown mod thread, post #28 and #29, this will not work on a 97 v8 awd...darn...but if you are looking for some more help with your mounty, i am sure you will find it here....

Yup i was wondering about that.

Most of them are going to a 4406 transfer case which allows them to select awd or rwd
