Where do I start? First off I am going to try and keep this somewhat short and not bore you all with every little useless detail of my life. Well, my name is Cameron, I am 29 years old and have always been a fan of Ford's and Lincoln's in general. However, growing up in a household with a father whom was employed for and now retired from General Motors and coming from a town where the majority of my friends and their families were similar or fans of Chevy's, Pontiac's, Cadillac's, etc got me much criticism in my younger teenage years. Therefore my first 4 cars were Chevrolet's. It all started with an '83 Camaro Z-28 305 V-8 when I was 16. This is where my love for American made steel and horsepower all began. Anyway, up until 2003 I had always owend General; Motors vehicles (with the exception of one Dodge which I will never do again) until on day I stopped in a local dealership and there sat my dream car. It was a 2001 Yellow Mustang GT 4.6L V8 in beautiful condition with only 20k miles on it. I knew I had to have it so within 1 hour I was driving it off the lot and back home! The next day I drive over to my father's house where the first comment I hear is "You best not have bought that P.O.S."
So anyway, that was my first Ford (which I still have to this day and have done many modifications to and is now my "Sunday" car). Next came my love for the Explorer Sport Trac. Although, I shopped around for some I didn't really want another car payment. Then one unfortunate day in October 2005 I was run over by a school bus on my way to work while riding my 2005 Yamaha R6 (Crotchrocket). After I got my settlement from the accident one of the things I purchased was a used 2003 Ford Explorer Sport Trac XLTwith 26k miles, cash in hand
which I now use as my daily driver for work and my wife and daughter. Since then I have done nothing but modify it ... lol ... I listed the main mods below in my signature. Since I have owned my Explorer Sport Trac I always have gotten compliments on it and I absolutely love it, the Mustang, and Ford in general. They seem to be a much better quality product then any of the General Motors vehicles I have ever owned. Finishing up this novel (if I haven't bored you to death yet) I would just like to say that I am proud to be part of this forum, a proud Ford owner, and I look forward to communicating with you all on these boards soon. Thank you for taking the time out of your lives to read my post.
Sincerely,
Killa Cam
